What’s different about Natural State?
Every body has a story, it’s always speaking, but not everyone knows how to listen.
That’s where I come in.
I bridge two worlds - the physical and the energetic.
On one side, I work with the body using anatomical knowledge, evidence-based remedial practices, grounded in science and hands-on techniques that feel familiar and practical. On the other, I tap into the subtle, unseen world of energy. The energetic layer and intuition. I work to diffuse the energetic blockages stored in our muscles and fascia, helping to restore flow and balance in the parts of ourselves that are felt rather than seen.
My goal is to demystify the “woo woo” out energy work and make it feel natural, accessible, and essential to bodywork. Because the truth is, it’s the missing ingredient that can take healing to the next level.
Is this what’s been missing from your bodywork?
Let me help you understand your body’s language, because it’s always trying to tell you something.
This is bodywork, reimagined.

Meet Shay
I’m Shay - Remedial Massage Therapist, Kinesiologist, and Intuitive.
But really, I’m just a bodywork nerd who’s obsessed with helping people feel their best!
Here are some fun facts about me…
I’m a mum to 3 very boisterous, free-range boys
Toowoomba gal since 2000
I first met my husband in primary school, then again at schoolies and have been together ever since!
I am qualified in remedial massage, myofascial cupping and kinesiology. Energy and intuitive work is another layer to bodywork that came about organically.
I am an anatomy nerd, I love all things muscles, fascia and health and wellness related.
I grew up understanding the emotional-physical connection thanks to my mum.
Spotify is my ride or die, I devour podcasts, audiobooks and music. Indie folk, EDM and country music are my consistent rotation.
When I’m not working, I’m in full ‘mum-mode’, you’ll find me at a skatepark or soccer field!
Whether you’re here for bodywork, energy healing, or just curious about what I do - welcome! I’m so glad you’re here.
